Hello. My name is Terri Gast, the picture featured on this page was taken the night I recieved my Associates Degree in Computer Network Administration on Dec. 3, 2003 from ITT Technical Institute. I also have a Certificate of Completion in Computer Programming from Mid-Florida Technical School where I obtained my initial computer proficency, meaning before starting the course in 1988, I didn't even know how to turn a computer on. I am now working on my Bachelor Degree in Network Security at ITT Tech of which I hope to complete in 2006. The motivation for this site is a combination of the three courses I am taking this term which are "Hacking Techniques, Tools, and Incident Handling., Ecommerce, and Research Methods." The first course consists of learning what methods and tools hackers use to invade computers, the second is about how to create, sell, and publish websites, the third is the proper way to research a subject, how to organize the information, verifiy the information and present it in an ethical comprehensive manner. With this in mind, I hope you find this site not only educational but helpful in securing your computer from the various problems that can be encountered on the Internet.
